A Pikler triangle alternative you can rebuild: 132 low climbing designs

A Pikler triangle is a small wooden climbing frame based on the ideas of the Hungarian paediatrician Emmi Pikler. Babies and toddlers use it to pull up, climb a few rungs and come back down on their own.

A modular QUADRO set can be built into low climbing structures for the same age. The difference is what happens later: a triangle keeps its shape, while the tubes and panels of a modular set can be rebuilt into a bigger tower, a slide or a playhouse as your child grows.

The 132 designs below are suitable from 24 months or younger, have a highest standing level between 20 and 80 cm and are no taller than 1.2 m. Each one lists its footprint, parts and steps.
